The current situation in the Red Sea
Carriers informed us about the suspension of vessels in the Red Sea area due to a highly escalated security situation. On Friday, December 15th, ships sailing in this region were attacked. For security reasons, vessels will be diverted around the Cape of Good Hope. Unfortunately, this results in increased costs for the carriers.
Rail Strike in Germany
From 15 to 16.11. the strike of the German Train Drivers' Union GDL is taking place. It should be completed on 16.11. at 10:00 p.m.
Unfortunately, this strike will also affect the containers that we currently transport from North German ports to the Czech Republic and vice versa.

Hapag-Lloyd increases FAK rates between Far East and Europe
Hapag Lloyd announced an increase in Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates between the Far East and North Europe, as well as the Mediterranean.
For sailings beginning on 1 December 2023, the following updated rates will apply to cargo transported in 20' and 40' dry containers, including high cube equipment, and reefers.
